To provide a comprehensive payroll service which aims for the accurate and timely payment of all employees whilst maintaining confidentiality and security.

Service Features...


PAYMENTS
• Payment of all authorised travel claims, expenses and overtime, notification of new appointments, leavers and amendments to current employee details and any other authorised information received by the payroll department 7 days prior to pay day.

• Correct calculation and payment of Occupational and Statutory Sick Pay and Occupational and Statutory Maternity Pay for each group of employees.

• In the event of underpayments or overpayments, the Payroll Department will liaise with the school immediately and any adjustments will be made as agreed between the school and the individual.

• Adjustments to salary/wage payments to account for leave without pay.

DEDUCTIONS

• Apply appropriate Superannuation regulations for each group of employees.


• Apply Income Tax Regulations to all employees, and issue P45's for leavers.


• Apply Department of Social Security regulations for National Insurance to all employees.


Correct voluntary deductions from employee's pay, including Court Orders, additional voluntary contributions towards a personal pension, personal accident insurance, private medical insurance, charitable giving and union subscriptions.


THIRD PARTY PAYMENTS

• Make appropriate payments to Inland Revenue each month (by a prescribed date) to account for Income Tax and National Insurance Deductions and SSP/SMP payments during the month.


Make appropriate payments to Teachers Pension each month (by a prescribed date) of employees and employers contributions to the Teacher Superannuation Fund.


• Correspond with Inland Revenue and Department of Social Security regarding employees' earnings and deductions for Income Tax and National Insurance.


•Account to the appropriate Pensions Administrator at the end of the financial year for all contributions to the Local Government Superannuation Fund during the year.


•Make payments over to the appropriate organisation of voluntary deductions.


CHANGES/AMENDMENTS

• Upon notification from the School of their Personnel provider apply incremental salary scales, as prescribed by the National Employers' Organisation for School Teachers.


Upon notification from the School or their Personnel provider apply incremental salary scales and wage rates as prescribed by the National Joint Council for Local Government Services.


• Upon notification from the School or their Personnel provider apply local agreement wage rates as prescribed and any retrospective pay awards.


GENERAL

• Liaise with employee's banks, building societies where necessary and provide written responses to external agencies in respect of enquiries, mortgage requests and insurance claims.


Production and distribution of payslips and maintenance of all necessary payroll records including provision of year end information.


• A designated named contact and freephone telephone number.


•Enquiry facility operating 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.

•No additional cost for weekly/fortnightly paid staff.


Duration of contract (one, two or three years) can be chosen by the School, during which time the cost of the service will remain fixed.
